Khmer Association for Development (KAD) is a local Cambodian non-governmental, non-profit, non-political and non-religious organization. Firstly, KAD registered as a non-governmental organization with the Council of Minister and secondly registered with the Ministry of Interior. KAD has been led by Board of Directors and Executive Committee. Board of Directors is a legislative institution and Executive Committee is an executive institution of KAD.
Most of its projects/activities have been implemented at the community level while a few of them have been carried out at the national level. Currently, KAD has had some programs including health, education, vocational training, media, governance, agriculture and children’s rights. We work in cooperation and partnership with communities, local authorities, NGOs and expertise institutions of government and private sectors. KAD receive funding from and work with various NGOs, Foundations, Trusts and donors regardless of race, political tendency, religious beliefs for the sake of community development for disadvantaged people.
