In 2004, KAD received support from Later-Day Saints Charities to distribute hygiene kits, school materials and uniforms to children from the poorest families, those affected by AIDS, and orphans. In 2004 and 2005 around 1,000 children (both girls and boys) received these gifts.

Apart from Latter-Day Saint Charities, KAD received donations of food from private donors for destitute people and families affected by HIV/AIDS. 273 families received humanitarian aid from KAD. The project eased the difficulties of the victims for a while.
