Our Management Team


Mr. Meas Chandeth
Executive Director

Mr. Meas Chandeth, the executive director, who graduated from International Foreign Language Institute and used to be trained in organization and program management, plays some vital roles as a fundraiser, a project designer, a project proposal writer and applicant, a project implementation monitor and report organizer. He is one of the founders of Khmer Association for Development (KAD) in 1999 and since then, he has remained the leader and manager of the organization. For more than 20 years, most of his work he has done in KAD just for the sake of local community children.

Mr. Doem Samon
Program Manager

Mr. Doem Samon, the program manager, who graduated from the university in the major of general management and has experienced the project management work with local community children and adolescents for years, leads, manages and supervises the processes of project implementation in person. He collects monthly reports from the project managers and cooperates with executive director to make progress and annual reports to be submitted to the donors. He prepares monthly reports for submission to the local authorities and relevant institutions.

Mrs. Keo Sovanna
Finance Officer

Mrs. Keo Sovanna, the finance officer, used to be trained in accounting management and has been experienced in KAD work for more than 20 years. She is responsible for checking monthly income and expenditure and preparing annual financial reports or statement of accounts to be submitted to the donors. In addition, she also gets financial documents ready for submission to the auditor in case of any project required for auditing.

Mrs. Kham Sophea
Administrator

Mrs. Kham Sophea, the administrator who graduated from the university in the major of English language and then was trained in administrative skills for two years. Up to now, she has worked for KAD for more than 10 years. She takes responsibility for many kinds of work in the administrative section as follows:

  • To administer central office, orders and security.
  • To welcome national and international visitors.
  • To draft and to prepare outgoing letters to be submitted to the Executive Director of KAD for consideration and approval and to send letters to other sections.
  • To receive incoming letters and record and file them according to their dates and types.
  • To decorate office and its surrounding ground.
  • To arrange and supervise library and other documents.
  • To make public relation.
  • To manage and handle security issues.
  • To arrange and organize ceremonies of KAD in relation with seasons.
  • To make total of statistic results of implemented programs like the number of training courses, the number of KAD members, the number of project implementing villages, communes and districts where the activities have been done and being done.
Miss. Tak Yuoeu
Accountant

Miss. Tak Yuoeu serves as an accountant in the financial section, playing a role in administering and managing income and expenditure at the order or by the guidance of KAD Executive Director and the by-law of the organization. She studied the general accounting skills for two years, and up to now, she has worked for KAD as an accountant for five years. As the accountant, she has been apportioned the following duties:

  • To manage all the budget and finance of KAD.
  • To make weekly, monthly, trimester, semester and annual balance sheet, loss and benefit account, and bank account reports with receipts or other documents to the Executive Director for examination and approval.
  • To deposit the cash into the bank and draw the cash from the bank account at the order of KAD Executive Director.
  • All the work or reports done by accountant must have a signature of KAD Executive Director. In case of contradiction must be annulled except in case of granting the rights in writing from KAD Executive Director.
  • To manage warehouse and distribute materials at the order of KAD Executive Director.
  • To make an inventory to be submitted to the Executive Director for examination.
  • To be provided with the rights by the Executive Director to deposit the cash into and draw the cash from the bank.
  • To deposit the cash into the bank and to draw the cash from the bank can be done alone, if the small amount of cash is $1,000 downward. There are two people, if the amount of cash is between $1,001 and $3,000. If more than $3,000 upward is drawn, there must be approval or signature from Executive Director on cash withdrawal certificate.
  • To keep cash drawn from the bank for use according to approval of the Executive Director, to maintain an account and to examine expense documents.
Miss. Suon Paily
Administrator Assistant

Miss. Suon Paily, the administrator assistant who is currently studying the general administration and accounting skills at the university, and she was trained in short-term administrative skills for six months. Up to now, she has worked for KAD for more than five years. She takes responsibility for many kinds of work in the administrative section as follows:

  • To administer central office, orders and security.
