Mobile Dental and Medical Clinic for Disadvantaged People in Cambodia

The project set up, equipped a mobile service and took basic medical and dental care to vulnerable groups, including:

  •  those living in the rural Cambodian communities including children in rural orphanages;
  • adults and children who have been forcibly relocated to the outskirts of Phnom Penh, or rural areas where there is no access to good housing, jobs, schooling, and medical, dental and other services;
  • rural disabled adults and children;
  • rural families where one or both parents are HIV positive people and
  • single parent families.

The result achieved was that since it was started in 2010, around 5,500 patients living in underserved communities of Cambodia have been treated.
